Nimbus NG series PTC convection heaters are powerful heaters suitable for various electrical enclosures; Nimbus NG embeds the PTC heating component in an aluminum box, is equipped with a terminal block, and can be equipped with a safety touch protective shell. Extremely high performance, low weight and compact design are the advantages of Nimbus NG. The aluminum design is for optimal heat conduction via the chimney effect and allows the heater to achieve up to 75W of heating power without a fan. Another feature of Nimbus NG is that it is equipped with DIN rail clamps that are insulated from the DIN rail and a terminal block, which can be easily matched with customer applications and save space. PTC convection heaters are particularly commonly used in control cabinets to protect electronic components from moisture and frost.

Nimbus NG > 100W is available in five different power versions, ranging from 100W to 240W. Heater with long aluminum cartridge suitable for voltage range 110 – 240V AC or DC (multiple voltages available). The 240W version consists of two aluminum profiles for maximum power.

PTC convection heaters have all the advantages of PTC heating technology. PTC technology allows the heating component to dynamically adjust its power without exceeding the maximum temperature, making it highly reliable and energy efficient without the need for any additional switching components.
