Although the charging station will be in a high temperature state during operation, there is almost no condensation generated at this time; However, in standby mode, the temperature will still decrease compared to operation, especially at night and during rainy periods, which greatly increases the chance of moisture accumulation inside the charging station. As mentioned in previous articles, moisture and condensation can easily cause electrical components to age and rust. Therefore, we generally recommend that charging stations be equipped with dehumidification devices, such as heaters.
Some customers may be concerned about the heating and dehumidification solution, fearing that it may cause the charging station to overheat, but this is not the case. PTC heaters have the characteristic of automatic constant temperature, which can ensure that the temperature will not be too high. In addition, they can also be paired with our compact thermostat to ensure that the heater only starts at the appropriate time, further avoiding unnecessary safety risks.

1. Can protect the screen - Many charging stations now have advertising displays and interactive touch panels, which can become extremely insensitive or display malfunctions in cold weather.
